Letters on the Dental Specialties Licensure and Scope of Practice Amendment Act of 2023

Letter of the DC Dental Society
Thank you to the nearly 130 dentists who cosigned the letter! The letter reflects signers as of June 20, 2024. Additional signers will be appended to the list periodically as received. The letter expresses:

• Opposition to the proposal to establish a specialty license with board certification as a requirement.
• Support for expanded authorization to allow all dentists to administer FDA approved neurotoxins (e.g., Botox® Cosmetic) for cosmetic as well as dental purposes.
