About the Speaker: Gillian Gladstone Teran
Gillian Gladstone Teran is a Speech-Language Pathologist and an IAOM Board Certified Orofacial Myologist™. She has over 12 years of experience in private practice. Gillian has also worked in and collaborated with numerous public and nonpublic schools and daycares across the DC Metropolitan area. Gillian founded her private practice, Gladstone Speech, in 2017, specializing in speech, feeding, swallowing, and oral-motor/orofacial myofunctional disorders. Clients of all ages have improved with her and her team’s care. Gillian also provides hands-on mentorship to her team of clinicians and consults with Speech-Language Pathologists across the country, as well as with local dental and orthodontic practices. She loves to present and educate health and medical professionals about orofacial dysfunction and ways to create collaborative success for all patients.
Gillian earned her Master's degree from the University of Maryland and her Bachelor's degree from Miami University. She is certified with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. Gillian is an active member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM™).
